With G&D’s Convego Service Online Portal, customers have a comprehensive portfolio at their disposal, from which they can select and assemble the services and tools that are relevant to them. The flexible and secure architecture allows the selected elements to be introduced quickly and easily in a manner appropriate to the customer’s corporate requirements.
The portal supports Ample User Management with high-security two-factor authentication. The range of available applications is very broad: a Stock Manager clearly shows the availability of stocks in each of the personalization environments used by the card issuer, regardless of whether these are G&D subsidiaries or not.
Individual cards and other products that are processed in these personalization locations can be easily tracked, thanks to the Status Enquiry tool. This tool can also be further extended by implementing the Pull Manager to halt or divert a product that is currently in the personalization process.
The Convego Service Online Portal is a “living” product that continues to grow and develop with the user’s requirements. The applications that we currently offer are ideal for both risk management and production, but can also cover many other areas of operation.
To meet the differing requirements of customers, the portal applications consist of a basic and a premium version.
The OTP Manager provides the way into the portal and is therefore an integral part of the offer. Every portal user receives a one-time password that controls access rights to certain modules and at the same time assigns the user to a certain user group.
The Stock Manager shows the card issuer the stock levels of the various products over the entire personalization process. Supporting functions, such as forecasts and visual alarm systems, increase the reliability and security of the processes. The expansion of the entire stock management and beyond is the task of the BOM (stock list manager). Using an easy-to-operate interface, the card issuer can define and control all stocks.
The BOM has a user-friendly interface that can be used for example to configure a customer product consisting of a card, a carrier, and packaging. It also allows you to add specific texts to a letter when addressing particular customer groups.
Risk managers can use the Outsort Manager to control the dispatch methods for a wide variety of products and cards in accordance with defined guidelines. ZIP codes or special buzzwords are identified when the data is processed in the personalization file. Defined guidelines ensure that products cannot get lost in the mailing system. Being able to search for the status of a completed file or a card in the personalization process is also a great help for the day-to-day work of customer-service departments.
The Status Enquiry Manager provides customers with an "insight" into G&D’s production. It allows them to track a data set from generation through to dispatch, thereby keeping them informed about the progress of their order at all times.
The Status Enquiry Manager can also be supplemented by the Pull Manager, an added functionality that enables customers not only to track their personalized product, but to actively control it – for example to stop the card – via the online portal.
The Convego Service Online Portal functions as a bridge within the entire value chain, linking the individual products and services of the Convego product line.
The Management Cockpit of the Convego System Instant Issuance can be accessed via the portal. Its task is to observe and to manage the activities of all the card issuer’s instant issuance stations.
The Data Gateway is G&D’s data transfer platform, which supports the card issuer in their multi-channel strategy. It rationalizes the work processes of local and regional partners, as well as multiple data formats, and therefore acts as a key support for the operations of global players.
