G&D | BDS D systems for the destruction of banknotes

BDS D(estruction) systems destroy huge quantities of banknotes and security documents. G&D’s completely automated banknote destruction systems set standards when it comes to reliability and absolute security. The BDS security concept is based on the latest access control techniques, such as fingerprint scans. The sturdy paneling protects it from forced access. Using sophisticated shredding technology, the system ensures maximum availability even under extreme operating conditions.

The BDS Compact range is aimed at customers who want to destroy banknotes or other documents, but only have limited space available. The machines in this range have a shredding capacity of 20 to 300 kilograms per hour. With these compact systems G&D ensures that even cash centers with only small to medium destruction volumes can enjoy the benefits of a performance class tailored specifically to them.

The BDS Extreme range is designed for high-performance destruction. The Extreme range models can achieve destruction rates of between 300 kilograms to 1.5 tons per hour. These systems are typically used in large cash centers.

In most cases, BDS D systems can also be flexibly configured with SC suction and briquetting systems, to minimize disposal costs.

Components for suctioning out banknote shreds, control software and systems for pneumatic transport.

The destruction systems can be expanded with components for suctioning out banknote shreds, with customized control software and with systems for pneumatic transport.

DAG II: The DAG II shredder disposal unit is suitable for connecting directly to all G&D systems for banknote processing with a shredder unit. BPS 1000, BPS 2000, BPS 3000, and BPS M7. It comes with two bags for online suction.

PCRS: The PC Reporting System (PCRS) provides advanced and full reporting on banknote destruction for national banks, or for destroying sensitive documents at printing plants and government offices. The reports are available in printed or electronic form for further processing, whether automatically or by machine. This increases the security of the destruction processes. An integrated management function simplifies the ordering of spare parts.

PDS: The Pneumatic Delivery System provides the connection between the different areas in central banks, commercial banks, cash-in-transit companies, and casinos. Cash center banknotes, and other articles of value can be transported from the cash register to the safe, from the safe to the banknote processing area, or from the safe to the shredder. The system’s standardized components allow it to adapt flexibly to the specific requirements of the location.
